Due to a large hiring roadmap, the internal recruitment team did not have the capacity to pick up an extensive executive search project to find the Sales Director for one of their most important marketplace verticals.

 

A new-to-fill role, increasing the importance of leadership alignment on profile and set up of the organisation.

To change the sales organisation and culture, there was an urgent need to hire an experienced Sales Director. The ideal candidate profile was someone from a bigger marketplace, with extensive experience in building and managing a B2B2C sales team. A niche profile, so hiring abroad was a possibility.
